The home is situated in a quiet residential area, within walking distance of the small village of Burscough. There is easy access to all public transport.

Services & Facilities

Stocks Hall was purpose built to provide residential and nursing care for 52 residents, with all the amenities of a first class establishment.

The individual rooms and lounges are tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable to meet all our residents’ requirements.

Burscough have seven EMI (Elderly Mentally Infirm) beds and 4 beds for our younger, disabled residents. We also have a 4 bedded rehab unit where clients are discharged to from hospital by Social Services and complete a rehab programme, after which they are able to return home and retain their independence with or without extra support.

Here at Burscough we offer many social activities to meet the individual needs of our residents – our activities staff and volunteers work together to create varied schedule programmes of activities/trips which meet spiritual, social and physical needs.  The Home has strong links with the community (local churches and schools visit on a regular basis) and we encourage our residents to integrate with the community. We have two mini buses for our residents to utilise and our dedicated team of staff greatly encourages active participation between all residents. This often results in long standing friendships between our residents.

Family values are of upper most importance at Burscough and encouragement is provided to each resident to personalise their own room.

All fees include: room, meals, laundry and cleaning services, snacks, beverages.
